Board of Trustees

The Salem Academy Board functions as a governance/policy Board, which means that they are not involved in the day-to-day operation of the school. It is the role of the superintendent to lead the school. The Board’s role is to set governing policies by which the school will operate and the superintendent will lead.

The Board will address issues related to the governing policies of the school. Items that are related to the day-to-day life and operation of the school are addressed with the superintendent and/or the staff member most responsible for the area to be addressed.
