Middle School CRU Volleyball Clinic

Advanced CRU: 5:30pm-7:30pm

*Upon registration, please include a short description of your athlete’s current skill level and any past experience she has playing volleyball (even if that answer is “little to no experience” please just answer honestly.)

Middle School CRU is designed to go above and beyond your average school camp or clinic. Drills created to push you, instruction designed to sharpen you. We want you to leave this camp, better, stronger, quicker and ready to stand out from the crowd. It will be led by our Volleyball Program Director and Varsity Head Coach, Melissa Holman. Teaming beside her is Varsity assistant and JV coach Suzie Phelps as well as Varsity assistant, Ken Lux. The Crusader staff is a well rounded team of coaches that together has over 50 years of coaching experience at the high school/club level.

Salem Academy makes regular appearances at the State tournament and recently won the State Championship title for the 2A Classification.

What to expect: Challenging drills that will touch on every aspect of the game.
Speed and agility training to improve your response on the court.
Competitive, game-like drills to improve your knowledge of the game and increase your volleyball IQ.

• Please bring a water bottle.
• Wear knee pads, comfortable athletic wear and proper court shoes.
• There will be diving and sprawling involved so make sure your athlete is comfortable getting on the floor or has a long sleeve shirt, or volleyball sleeves.
