Spiritual Emphasis Week: Thursday

Today was the final day of Spiritual Emphasis Week. After a morning of VBS, at 1 PM, the Salem Academy community gathered for a special chapel where students had the opportunity to be baptized before their family, peers, and faculty. Students recounted what led them to their decision, and some shared their personal favorite Bible verse.

Deuteronomy 31:6 and Joshua 1:9 both relay hope and the promise that God will “never leave or forsake us.” Spiritual Emphasis Week is a time at Salem Academy for our community to teach each other these Biblical truths and encourage a more profound relationship with Him.

Thank you for praying for our community. Though Spiritual Emphasis Week is concluded, we will continue to promote the salvation of Christ and urge the community to grow closer to Him. Summer is only a few weeks away. We pray that the Holy Spirit would enable our students to carry these lessons and fellowship forward. Amen.
