FINANCIAL AID

The Salem Academy Financial Aid Fund has been established for families who seek to have their children at Salem Academy, but require financial assistance to make that possible. Requests for financial aid are to be made annually.

In order for the request to be evaluated properly, a financial application must be completed online. There is a $35 processing fee per application, payable to FACTS. Applications completed in full take approximately 4-6 weeks to process. Any application missing documentation cannot be reviewed until all information is submitted, and will be considered incomplete. Completed applications submitted prior to May 31 of each year will receive aid notifications prior to mid-July. Applications completed on or after June 1 in addition to incomplete applications that are completed on or after that date may not receive a decision until after school starts. Financial Aid applications close on or before September 30th of each year depending on the availability of funds.

The financial aid application is submitted through FACTS Grant and Aid. They review and verify the information submitted prior to the application being presented to the Salem Academy Financial Aid Committee. The Committee may also request clarification or further information prior to making a decision. If you have already enrolled your student at SA, please access FACTS to apply for financial aid through the Family Information section of your individual FACTS/RenWeb account. If you are a new family, you can access the general application directly through FACTS. Please note you will need your 2020 completed tax information to finish your application.

NOTE: Preschool and half time kindergarten are not eligible for Financial Aid.
